Partnered Path To College Program

Our Partnered Path to College program begins as early as the winter of the student’s sophomore year. This completely individualized program with unlimited meetings provides course advising, guidance on summer jobs/activities that foster academic and personal growth, college list development, standardized test-taking guidance, and application support including essay evaluation. Students have access to a range of software to assist them in managing their application and testing timelines.

During the initial family strategy session, we review the student’s academic and career goals, current transcript, and standardized test scores, if available, and build a plan to meet student aspirations. The Partnered Path program allows ample time for students to explore their personal, social, and academic values and match them with schools that support their unique talents and skills. Throughout the junior year, students explore potential majors, investigate experiential education opportunities at colleges, and plan campus visits and information sessions. Finally, students receive targeted assistance with their college applications, the personal statement, and supplemental essays often required by selective colleges and universities. Students prepare for and practice interviewing as needed.

From Our Clients

“I received constructive criticism and a lot of helpful suggestions on how I can improve my essay. I will definitely be recommending College Edge to others beginning this process and will most likely be contacting [them] for another essay run through. Thank you for the help!”

“Our family had a wonderful experience using College Edge to help our oldest with her college application process.  As a busy senior, having their guidance and expertise allowed our daughter to feel more confident about submitting a great college essay and making sure applications were submitted on time.
